This is a list of categories intended primarily for maintenance / contribution / wiki organization purposes rather than for end-users, though it may also serve as a useful guide to all the categories of information available.
This page is organized with each meta category at the top-level as a reference for where each sits in the hierarchy but the focus is on the underlying categories themselves. Some categories fit into multiple meta categories so here it is shown in the one where it fits the best.
One of the goals of this page is to analyze the categorization of this wiki so it can be improved. In particular we violate many of the guidelines followed on other wikis, e.g.
