List of Faction Changes by Mob |

A loose collection of early settlers in the Alpha Centauri system, the Bogeril are renowned for their ingenuity and tinkering abilities. They are named after Sam Bogeril, their former leader. Bogerils are independence-minded and generally wish to be left alone. As they are based in Witberg, a sector claimed by the EarthCorps Warriors faction, they often do not get left alone; clashes with EarthCorps forces are commonplace. As a result, the Bogeril tend to hate Terrans (most particularly Terran Enforcers) far more than other races.
Their preference for isolation from mainstream human culture, as well as (by necessity) enhancing their mechanical inventiveness, has led to the development of a distinctive dialect.
To access their gate to der Todesengel sector (in Alpha Centauri system) you must complete a short quest chain starting with the mission called "Condolences", and ending with the award of a Level 1 der Todesengel Gate Access Key device. Note that while you are able to enter der Todesengel sector once you own a der Todesengel Gate Access Key, if your Bogeril faction is less than −2,000 (that is NEGATIVE, verified 20:43, 14 July 2024 (UTC), but most missions there require POSITIVE 2,000), you will not be allowed to dock at the Bogerils' main station, Grand Ole Homestead. Certain Bogeril-crafted items are available for purchase there, and this station is the only source of the non-manufacturable components:
- Cement Bags (ammo for L9 Brimstone Ballista and Hellfire Ballista PLs)
- Raw Scuttle Dung (ammo for L9 Dung Flinger and Dung Cannon MLs)
Improving Bogeril Faction

Caution: If you lower EarthCorps Warriors faction too far you may be barred from entering EarthCorps Warriors-controlled stations such as EarthCorps High Command and Jagerstadt City. However, EarthCorps Warriors Faction can be repaired by killing V'rix ships without negatively affecting your Bogeril Faction.
