Recruited from the fringes of Sabine society, the Collegia Traders have one goal in mind: Progen Warriors using Progen Weapons. They have had enough of InfinitiCorp's galactic control, enough of Vinda's non-leadership, and enough of travesties like the Glenn Treaty, which gave the Terrans the richest weapons-grade resource in the known galaxy - 61 Cygni sector.
The leader of the Collegia Traders is Theodoric Cassel. In return for designing new weapons for the Centuriata Warriors, he obtained the sector Altair III as a base for his faction. Theodoric, however, has based himself at Arx Tiberius station in Tarsis sector.
This is the class faction for the Progen Privateer (PP).
Faction Standing
Some ways to raise your standing with the Collegia Traders are:
- Killing V'rix is a safe way to raise this faction without hurting others.
- The Collegia do not like the Red Dragon pirates: killing RDs will improve your standing with Collegia and also the Chavez pirates.
- The (repeatable) mission First Rule of Acquisition is another good way of gaining Collegia reputation (40 faction points; if you already possess the components, at each step in the mission you will have to move the relevant component to another cargo slot in your ship's hold in order to get the mission to update).
- The mission Delivery Boy gives 200 faction points, and starts a mission-chain for even more points.
- The (repeatable) mission Beating Back the Pirates earns 50 faction points, plus extra from killing Red Dragon pirates during the mission.
- You can also hand in Half-Eaten Progen Space Suits to Zieg at Arx Magister station in Mars sector.
Attention: Students of Agrippa Technology
PWs and PPs get along fine with the Collegia Traders. However, if you are a Progen Sentinel and you intend to train in Agrippa Technology, you may experience difficulties as your training progresses beyond Stage I if your Faction Standing with remains low (PSs start with negative reputation with Collegia). As training gets to higher levels, some NPC trainers require you to have higher Collegia faction standing, so PSs training in Agrippa need to keep this issue in mind. Agrippa students are advised that while your Agrippa Trining is incomplete, you shouldn't become too friendly with both InfinitiCorp Traders (Collegia's Terran competition) and the Red Dragons.
