The Warrior class of each race is marked by ships with greater offensive and defensive capability. Warriors' ships have five or, in the case of the Progen Warrior, six weapon slots. Their most powerful (Level 9) weapons are determined by race specialization: Jenquai excel in the use of beams, Progen with projectile weapons, and Terrans are missile experts. Warriors can, of course, train in the use of any other weapon type to Level 8, but this will divert skill-points from being applied to other, valuable skills.

Warriors' ships also tend to have stronger hulls, less cargo space, and can use fewer devices, although each aspect varies by race.
