Belulah wants to make a Christmas Cake for her lover.
Steps
- Find the ingredients for a Christmas cake.
- Speak with Belulah Lee at Friendship 7 Recreation Port to initiate the mission.
- Belulah gives you no advice on what to collect.. luckily, you have found this wiki page! Refer to the table below to find where to obtain the needed ingredients.
- Taking wormholes damages seven of the eight items, but Belulah doesn't seem to notice. I suspect she has spiked her eggnog with far too much homebrew.
- All these items are non-tradable: one pilot can't go shopping for others.
- After collecting all items, your mission log should automatically update to "(2/4) Talk to Belulah" after you leave the last vendor's stall. If it doesn't, click the "Sort" button of your ship's cargo hold, to manually nudge the mission log along to the next step.
- Talk to Belulah
- Return to Belulah Lee at Friendship 7 Recreation Port. She will take the ingredients and give you the resulting cake.
- Note that it is possible to get stuck at this point if you're doing this at the same time as Dickens - Bah Humbug! until you've completed Step 4 of that mission to bring Belulah a nice gold ring. Whether this happens to you or not depends upon the order of the missions in your mission log. If this mission is first, you're fine, if not and the Dickens mission is first, Belulah will not offer the dialog option to advance this mission until she receives her gold ring.
- Return to Belulah Lee at Friendship 7 Recreation Port. She will take the ingredients and give you the resulting cake.
- Find Belulah's Main Squeeze.
- Visit Leeroy Junkbins in Witberg, near the Bogeril Negotiation Vessel (14.96k to the north), to receive the mission rewards.

Note: You only need 1 of each item.
- Friendship 7 Recreation Port to pick up mission
- WH to Carpenter
- Tau Ceti / Somerled Station, get Eggs and Tau Ceti Fruit from Trade vendor Jess Edarte
- WH Witberg, fly to Zweihander planet, get Zweihander Fruits from Trade vendor Holden Maxweller (Bazaar, long walkway)
- Dock at EarthCorps High Command, get Alpha Centauri Fruit from Trade vendor Luis Santiago
- WH to Carpenter, gate to Slayton, then Glory's Orbit, dock at Mercury Station and get Beta Hydri Fruit from Trade vendor Ralla Sertris
- WH to Asteroid Belt Beta
- Gate to Venus, pick up Yum-O-Rum from space between Nav Commerce Lane 3/4 (20k west of those two)
- WH to Asteroid Belt Beta, Gate to Asteroid Belt Alpha, then to Earth.
- Fly to 'GETCo 1' nav in Earth and loot Sugar & Flour (1 of each).
- Dock at Earth Station, get Sol Citrus Fruit from Trade vendor Lenorn Listor
- WH to Carpenter
- Dock at Friendship 7 Recreation Port, advance mission, undock, WH to Witberg
- Talk to Leeroy Junkbins to get engine. Done.
Should take around 20 minutes.
Notes
- The only way to get The Polar Express engine is to do this seasonal mission: once the festive season is over, you have to wait until next year!
- This highly desirable Level 5 engine confers a warp speed of 4000 - the fastest of all L5 engines, and faster even than many engines of higher levels.
- The order of the main list is good for someone who is not traveling with a JE. JEs should use the #JE Speedrun Route.
- This mission is not repeatable in the same year, but if you have done it in a previous year, it is.
- As The Polar Express is unique, you will have to trade one obtained in a previous year to another alt. You will not be able to accept a new one otherwise.
- First available Christmas 2016 and appears to have been offered every year since, up to and including 2024.
