• Instructor Anala is the first Non-Player Character (NPC) you will see when starting as a Jenquai Defender (JD). You should talk to her at once. After answering a number of questions, she will give you the Energy Leech skill, and also the mission Path of Dark and Brightness (this is your mission for hull upgrades and it will stay open until you upgrade your hull on reaching OL135).
• There is also a mission called "Energy Leech" which gives the Energy Leech skill and 5,000 Combat experience points. Presumably this mission is for those who did not immediately talk to Instructor Anala when starting their career. As she also issues the mission which controls hull upgrades, it is unlikely she will be ignored for long!
