When the Call comes, be ready. When activated on a targeted friendly this item gives an increase to target's Projectile Weapon skill. When equipped this item causes a small increase to your ship's mass, but gives a reduction to the amount of damage your shield and weapons will take.

Buffs:

• Improved Projectile Handling (Activated): Increases Projectile Accuracy by 30.00(39.90)% and Projectile Damage by 12(16)% for 2160.00(2872.80) seconds when activated.
• Equipment Damage Control - Shields (Equip): Increases your shield's effectiveness at sustaining damage by 86(114)% when equipped.
• Equipment Damage Control - Weapons (Equip): Increases your weapons' effectiveness at sustaining damage by 75(100)% when equipped.
• Increase Mass (Equip): Increases ship mass by 10% when equipped.

Restrictions:

• Jenquai restricted
• Warriors only

• The Sting range of devices is made in a number of levels:

• L1 Sting Unus
• L2 Sting Duo
• L3 Sting Tria
• L4 Sting Quattuor
• L5 Sting Quinque
• L6 Sting Senio
• L7 Sting Septem
• L8 Sting Octo
• L9 Sting Novem (not usable by anyone, shouldn't exist)
• The principal buff of the above devices is "Improved Projectile Handling (Activated)".
• There are two other devices with the word "Sting" in their name (the L5 Manticore's Fell Sting, and the L9 Scarlet Sting), but they have unrelated buffs and thus not considered part of the above range.

Bugs

  Oddly this is an item that no one can use so it represents a bug and shouldn't even exist. It is only usable by Warriors (TE and PW have L8 max devices) and restricted from Jenquai (so JD's can't use it either).
