Kigoshi Saruta will help you rebuild the Oni Communication Device as long as she is nowhere near when you activate it.
Steps
- Find a person experienced with magnets who can help redesign the Colloidal Magnetic Transmitter
- Go to Dahin Mining Interest and see Zachariah Garrett
- Bring Zachariah Garret a CE3K X93 Relay, a Brimstone Alchemist and a piece of Star Steel
- Search for an abandoned Sha'ha'dem ship near the Continuum Wrinkle in Xipe Totec to find information about the Comm Power Source.
- The Sha'ha'dem ship is Sha'ha'dem Adept at <82.11, 7.35, 0.01> which you approach and Scan for this mission.
- Bring the information to Liam O'Faolain on Fenris Prime Observatory for deciphering.
Getting the mission
- Kill Oni in Xipe Totec or just look around for a spaced Slagged Oni Communication Device as people frequently space them. Try around the Continuum Wrinkle.
- Make sure you loot it on a JE, PS, or TT (this mission is for the JE version). You will need L9 Build Devices.
- Go to Yasuragi and talk to Kigoshi Saruta with it in your cargo hold. You should get a special dialog option "You! Don't move! Where did you find this Slagged Oni Communication device in your cargo hold?"
