In this mission you will learn cloak and receive your first hull upgrade.

Steps

1. Data Dumping Step 1 - Travel to the Ancient Gate Replica (Ganymede, Sol System).
   • Located SE of Research Nav 1
2. RED ALERT, PIRATES DETECTED!! Target the Ancient Gate replica immediately and activate Basic Cloaking.
   • Note that you will have limited time to complete the next steps as your cloak drains your reactor.
3. Data Dumping Step 3 - Thrust to the Research Satellite near the Ancient Gate Replica.
   • The Research Satellite is a small nav between Array Alpha and Array Gamma.
   • You have to come to a complete stop once you discover it to advance the mission.
   • 4000 Explore XP
4. DATA RETRIEVED. Escape the sight of the pirates, deactivate cloak and return to Kayen Silva.

Notes

• While the skills panel on a new JS does not list a level requirement for the Cloak skill, you cannot obtain this mission before completing your first hull upgrade mission, Data Dumping, which implicitly makes the OL requirement 10.
• After turning in Data Dumping talk to Rashid Bandy again for Tricks of the Trade.
