Omaka needs you to scan the wreckage of his deceased students for information. A good opportunity to test your reactor optimization skill in the perils of space.
Steps
- Head to the Kor Kor Asteroid Belt nav and scan the Wreckage of Nan'Jeu Gopal. If you encounter Manes, use shield recharge and reactor optimization to keep yourself alive.
- It seems to be by design that you die here (hence the name of the mission I suppose) because it's highly unlikely you will escape the massive group of Manes present while in a gravity well so just try and scan the two wrecks as quickly as possible before getting immobilized and destroyed.
- Scan the Wreckage of Nan'Jeu Ranjit and prepare to warp back to the Azmundi Maru.
- Return to Azmundi Maru and talk to Omaka Kasinagi.
Notes
- You aren't misreading, this mission had no credit, XP, or faction rewards. First time I've seen that. I'm half curious if it's because I "failed" one of the earlier parts of Defense of the Sharim by mouthing off to him and he made me redo it. At the end he said "next time I train you, I hope you do better".
