Crafted sometime in Earth's distant past, these exquisite porcelain figurines are carried on ships as a representation of their performance in battle. The crews often believe the physical traits of the animal are imbued upon the ship itself, like the speed of the hare, or the ferocity of the tiger, and will often undertake to prove their fidelity by dedicating acts of kindness or morality to the spiritual traits of their adopted icon. These figurines are never purchased, they are given as gifts by the crews of other ships in the fleet as a sign of gratitude or acknowledgement.
