Overview
Lagarto is an important border-crossroads sector in the Gallina system. Travellers from Aragoth (and via there from Sol) systems must pass through here to proceed deeper into Progen space. The nearest station facilities are to be found in neighbouring Endriago sector.
In Lagarto you will also find Risco Moon, where you can land. Also, far to the north beyond a morass of gravity wells, is the gate to the extremely hazardous Roc sector, overrun by the V'rix (who now call it "R4C") and home to highly dangerous (CL50+) wildlife.
The gravity wells riddling the vast northern reaches of the sector make Roc sector hard to find for pilots who have not yet mapped the narrow nav-path trail which winds circuitously through warp-dead space. If you've not yet mapped the route to Roc, call out in chat (in-game) and see if anyone is available to group and fly you through. Of course, if you are (or are grouped with) a Terran Scout with the Nullfactor Field skill maxxed, grav wells become of no consequence. A JE can get along well enough here too, with a maxxed Navigate skill (50% chance of warping when in a gravity well).
