Steps

1. Fly to Observation Satellite 1 near the Maelstrom and scan it.
   • This is nav 4BS2RV2RSP4ST1 and you need to click the "eye" to scan the nav when you're within 1k of it.
2. Fly to Nav Maelstrom 1 and make your observations.
   • Warp to nav 1DV1NC2F3RSTST1G21 and stop moving until the mission updates.
3. Kill 2 Maelstrom Hounds.
   • Only the CL6 Maelstrom Hounds <173.53, 104.97, -3.86>, <173.96, 91.61, 0.58> (on the opposite side of the Mazzaroth Maelstrom nav) count toward mission progress.
   • The CL5, CL7 Maelstrom Hounds and the CL8 Maelstrom Hound Master do NOT count.2
4. Obtain 1 Hound Claw, hold on to it for Gray Feather after your patrol.
5. Fly to Observation Satellite 2 and scan it. Remember what you see there.
   • This is nav 4BS2RV2RSP4ST2 and you need to click the "eye" to scan the nav when you're within 1k of it.
6. Report back to Gray Feather near Typotl Maw with your observations.
   • Choose the response "There were about 5 Vrix ships near the Satellite as if they were staging for flight."
