Kokura leader Grey(sic) Feather ordered several groups of pilots to enter the Mazzaroth Maelstrom and kill at least 9 V'rix ships each.

Steps

Enter into the Mazzaroth Maelstrom.
- To enter the Mazzaroth Maelstrom, equip the Mazzaroth Key device, drag it to a shortcut button, approach the Mazzaroth Maelstrom nav, then use it while targeting the nav.
Fly to Deep Field 2 and prepare for battle !
Kill 9 level ## V'rix Helkos ships and LOOT EVERYTHING!
- The level of the V'rix (##) are scaled based on your level, from roughly CL13 up to CL33.
- Leave a cargo slot open for a L3 C4RT3C1LT3SS52 you receive upon killing the 9th V'rix. You do not loot this from a kill.
- You do not actually have to loot anything from the V'rix. All you need is the C4RT3C1LT3SS52.
Return to Gray Feather near Typotl Maw with everything you have looted from your kills.
- All you need to bring to Gray Feather is the C4RT3C1LT3SS52.
Fly to planet Swooping Eagle and Du'Shao Silva and give him the Green matter sample.

Bugs

The name of this mission contains the misspelled word "defence"(sic) which was surely intended to be "defense".
The mission summary uses the name "Grey Feather" whereas the NPC is actually named "Gray Feather" and he is referred to as such elsewhere in the mission.
