Overview
Io is is the innermost and third-largest of the four Galilean moons of the planet Jupiter. It is a little larger than Earth's moon, and is the most geologically active object in the Solar System, with over 400 volcanoes.
Sector Io is within the Sol system and is the starting sector for the Jenquai Explorer class, and is only accessible by pilots of that race and profession. Here you will find the Nishino Research Facility, the training centre for Initiate-rank Explorers. Io sector is controlled by the Sha'ha'dem Explorers faction.
Io sector contains stargates to Jupiter, and also to Kailaasa sector in the Capella system.
