Overview
A popular sector for serious miners and big game hunters, the Antares Frontier has long been a place where many a pilot has built his fortune. Originally (in ENB Live) a very long way from anywhere, since the discovery of the weft in next-door Vishao's Cove sector, the Antares Frontier has become much easier to access. Its popularity among high-level hunters is not universal, as loot from the native wildlife, the Voltoi, doesn't stack in your cargo hold, which will fill up quickly.
The sector's starbase, Antares 1, has been under construction for a very long time indeed (obviously a government project). Only the docking bay has functional life support: there is neither lounge, nor market, nor building/refining/analysing facilities. Hunters and miners do have the ability to access their vault from this station, and two sectors away an in-space vendor called the Veil Trader can be found to trade with.
There are a number of high-level Voltoi mobs in this sector which drop elite weapons and ship equipment, which is one of the attractions which supersede the inconvenience of the lack of local facilities and the unstackability of loot.

Similar to Varen's Girdle, this zone will require you to have dedicated ore haulers for lvl 7 and 8 ores, plus at least one other character to haul the rest. 84 slots to mine out the entire zone. Level 9 ores are largely from pop rocks and one pass is not representative of the true quantity or variety present here.
