Prove to Tzu you can follow orders.
Steps
- Travel to Aragoth Prime and talk to Harvey Krum in Chernevog Station.
- Assuming you wormhole to Valkyrie Twins, stop at Aragoth Station first and pick up Traitor from Meredith Lot (on the right side of the Lounge) before going to see Harvey Krum. Another 250 faction!
- If you want to map the L1 Mivrei Drone device, now is the time, see the note at the bottom of the page.
- Return the item to Tzu.
- Tzu is not happy about the Mivrei Drone either way, whether you mapped it and built one or turned in the one Harvey actually gave you.
- If you are also doing Traitor at the same time, make sure and talk to Tzu twice at this point to advance both missions.
- Return to Harvey Krum.
- Retrieve the Scanner from Lunatic Miners (CL 32, impact immune, shoot energy beams) in Varens Girdle.
- The Lunatic Miners east of Nav Valkyrie 2 in Valkyrie Twins <131.32, -5.79, -1.00> are much closer, much easier to deal with, and they also drop the item and advance the mission so I recommend going there instead.
- The drop rate for the Broken Scanner is terrible so if you're starting to feel like it's bugged or that they don't actually drop it... just keep killing them. It took me hours to complete on a group of characters.
- If you aren't having luck in VT you can go to Nav Ratatosk Trail 5 in VG - Warning: Other aggressive NPCs spawn in the area and have a VERY high respawn rate; if CL32's are a challenge for you this area will be rough.
- Return the Broken Scanner to Harvey Krum.
- He gives you a Tzu's Scanner and 10,000 credits
- Return to Shou Tzu.
Notes:
- Lunatic Miners are CL 32. Younger avatars may need friends to help them -- the person with the mission MUST hit the target first.
- After step 1, you will have a mappable Mivrei Drone in your cargo. You can map it and build a new one by buying the parts from Zinzu Nez at Prasad Station (Xipe Totec) (Mivrei Drone Parts and Mivrei Osara) and Joves Fury or Paren Station (Electro Conjunction Core). You can then turn the player made one in for the mission and Tzu will be none-the-wiser.
