Recover Damien's lucky charm for his grieving sister, Lady deWinter.
Steps
- Search for Damien's Lucky Charm. His missing Squadron was discovered near Nav Kuiper 8 in R4c, Deneb. When you find the wreck site, scan it.
- Wreck Site is in a gas field guarded by CL56 Tainted Bullyweres. It is at <69.19, -2.21, 0.00>, 147k SW of the isolated V2RD5N navpoint.
- Slay the Bullywere Scavenger
- Bullywere Scavenger is CL30 but there are numerous CL56 Tainted Bullyweres in the area.
- If the mission-taker is grouped, the mission-taker must deal damage to the mob before others of the group can do damage to it
- If multiple people/accounts in the group are on the mission simultaneously, only one account gets to do the mission. Then, the group has to leave R4c and re-enter and the next account can do the mission.
- If the above fix does not work for you, you will need to logout and back in the toon that did not collect the "Piece of a Lucky Charm" and re-scan the wreck.
- Return to Fergus MacGregor on Somerled Station
Notes
- 2019; Z axis = ~0.00 . able to complete for multiple avatars if taking turns on the wreckage scan and killing of the "scavenger"
- as of summer 2016, the V'rix have replaced all the nav beacons in R4c with their own in different locations. However, the gas field and wreck are still in the same <x,y,z> location.
- easy task for:
- Jenquai; CL 56 Bullyweres can not see you when you are cloaked.
- Sentinel; warp in, Power Down and scan the nav-point. Then warp out in the direction of the mission mob, then inch back to kite the CL30 out
- Fergus MacGregor is at Somerled Station in New Edinburgh
- (Discovered on PTR server. Have to double-check this in live server). If you have Seeking Answers active at the same time as The Lucky Charm the mission mob may not spawn when you scan the Wreck site. Seeking Answers was on Step 8 when I tried to finish The Lucky Charm
