Work with Ayako Ravenlock to uncover the secrets of the maelstroms.

Steps

  1. Scan Vishao's Gate with the Ravenlock Diagnostic Device in your hold (Vishao's Cove, Capella System).
    • Return and speak with Ayako Ravenlock at Paren Station (Kailaasa, Capella system)
      • Scan the Mazzaroth Maelstrom with the Ravenlock Diagnostic Device in your hold (Swooping Eagle, Sirius System).
        • The Maelstrom is about 110k north (up) of Kotl Point and slightly east (right) -- line up Kotl Point and Jade Yaw navs and you're good
        • The Mazzaroth Maelstrom navpoint is located between ADVANCEFIRSTSTAGEE and ASSEMBLYPOINT.
      • Return and speak with Ayako Ravenlock at Paren Station (Kailaasa, Capella system)
        • Test Ravenlock's Retooled Diagnostic Device on the Mazzaroth Maelstrom (Swooping Eagle, Sirius System)
          • Return and speak with Ayako Ravenlock at Paren Station (Kailaasa, Capella system)
            • Manufacture the revised maelstrom device and test it on the Mazzaroth Shear.
              • Build the Mazzaroth Key then return to the Mazzaroth Shear. The key requires 15 Raw White Tazeron and 15 Raw Blue Tazeron to be refined to 3 White Tazeron and 3 Blue Tazeron and those then refined again into a Blue Tazeron Hexagon and White Tazeron Circle. Be careful not to refine the wrong color into each shape. (NOTE: recommend mining all tazeron as it appears to 'magically' appear very quickly. Usually have enough for 2 keys (15x blue/15x white) in about 10 minutes.)
              • After building the device, equip it and hotkey it then use the device when targeting Mazzaroth Maelstrom in Swooping Eagle.
            • Return and speak with Ayako Ravenlock at Paren Station (Kailaasa, Capella system). note: Make sure to have the key in your hold.
