This Level 4 device can currently only be found in hulks.
The hulks in Asteroid Belt Beta occasionally have them.
"Blacksun eye-class scanning sensors are commonly equipped on Red Dragon tong scout ships. The sensors employ passive microwave scanning technologies to effectively extend scouting ranges."
Buffs:
- Scan Boost (Equip): Allows ship scanners to see 1450( 1928) units farther when equipped.
