Overview

The entrance to the Mondara Maelstrom is in Tarsis sector, Vega system. In order to access Mondara Maelstrom you must first have access to Mazzaroth Maelstrom by completing Seeking the Key. Then in order to gain access to Mondara Maelstrom you must complete the mission Unlocking Mondara to acquire the Mondara Key.

The Maelstroms are areas for higher level players with missions sending you after mobs in the CL40 range.

Notes

• The name of this Sector while you're inside it in-game is "Mondara Maelstrom".
• Many maps show the Mondara Maelstrom Sector as though it is a separate System, but in-game it is actually part of the Vega System.
• The galaxy map in-game within the client shows a "Mondara Shear" System which was not actually implemented server-side in the emulator (containing a single Mondara Maelstrom sector which was, but made part of Vega).
• enbmaps.de shows a Mondara Maelstrom System which does not exist along with a sector "Mondara (old)"; these are both inaccurate on multiple levels.
