This page is a Work In Progress and is not complete or 100% correct
Some ores have no use other than giving you XP and credits. This page lists the ores which have no (or almost no) use other than to be mined, refined and sold to vendors.
Everything these ores are used in can be bought from vendors.
This page is intended as a guideline to assist in vault management. You may choose to keep a stack of each ore in your vault if you prefer to play it safe. As with all guides, use your own judgement to see if the provided assistance applies to your playstyle.
Maximizing XP
In order to maximize your XP-gain from these ores do the following:
- Mine (Explore XP)
- Trade what you mined to another character (Trade XP)
- Trade it to your refiner and refine the Ore (Trade XP)
- Trade the refined ore to another character (Trade XP)
- Sell to vendor (Credits)

Limited Use Ores
The following set of ores have a very limited use. It is very unlikely you need to store large amounts of these.
For each ore its use is given, so you can decide whether the ore is useful to keep in your vault(s).
As with the above ores, the use of an ore in vendor-available items is not considered as useful to keep in vault management.

| Raw Quartz Crystals | Liquid Crystal | 2 | Silicate | Used in the creation of the Lure, which is used in the Gate raid trigger. (Lure) Consider giving it to your guild for trigger building. |
| Neutronium Ore | Neutronium | 7 | Radioactive | Only used in Agrippa builds (Reaction Vulgus and Effervo Incendium Flechette). If you don't like or don't do Agrippa, you will never need more than 1 stack (if that). |
| Raw Alunite | Alunite | 7 | Rock | For future use in V'rix components. No current use (2019-03-05). |
| Raw Galactic Rimstone | Galactic Rimstone | 7 | Crystal | Used to make the Heart of Stone, a component needed for the Shooting Star VII reactor. You possibly won't need much of this, as the Heart of Stone can be obtained from a mob drop. |
| Raw Mica | Mica | 8 | Hydrocarbon | For future use in V'rix components. No current use (2019-03-05). |
| Raw Scyllan Diamond | Scyllan Diamond | 8 | Gemstone | Used in the creation of the Gate raid trigger (FM2K) Consider giving it to your guild for trigger building. |
