Heart Shields are a range of non-manufacturable shields which are available only by completing the seasonal mission called Valentine's Day. These shields are useful for those who wish to enhance their ship for fast take-offs, or for explorer-class pilots who may wish to switch quickly between a number of different devices.
Buffs
The buffs they confer are as follows:
- Equipment Engineering (Equip) Reduces the time taken to install devices & other ship equipment.
- Increase Speed (Equip) Increases impulse (not warp) speed.
- Deflect Energy (Equip) Hardens your ship's defences against attack by energy weapons.
- Warp Charge (Equip): Decreases warp engage/cooldown times.
Models of Heart Shield
Heart Shields are available in all levels; the above buffs becoming increasingly powerful the higher the level.
