Ancient Artifacts are some of the rarest and most desirable devices, and are only recoverable by Explorer class pilots, as the Prospect skill is required: they are to be found inside standard, non-glowing asteroids. When discovered and mined, they will need identification before becoming usable: take your finds to Ayako Ravenlock over at Paren Station in Kailaasa sector for this service (an identification fee is charged by her).
