XP Debt (Experience debt) is incurred whenever your ship is destroyed in Earth and Beyond. The amount of experience debt you get is a particular fraction of the total amount of XP it will take you to level up.
There are two ways to remove XP Debt:
- It will decay over time when you are logged out.
- 50% of all XP gains while you have XP debt will be diverted toward paying down said XP debt.
Based on the data below, XP debt appears to decay (be forgiven) at a rate of around 9.3% per hour.
