A highly sought-after engine for its Projectile Energy Conservation buff. If your reactor is underpowered for the level of guns you have installed, this engine can help stop you from running out of reactor power during a battle. If you are unable to obtain a Puk's Wing engine, you can also obtain weapon energy conservation using the Pride range of devices, starting with the L3 Ying-Lung's Pride.
There are two kinds of mobs that spawn here, and they share the same model/name/level/etc. There is no way to tell them apart. There are 'trigger mobs' and 'wave mobs'. When you warp in, trigger mobs are probably present. Killing them triggers a wave of 3/6/9+boss mobs. Trigger mobs will respawn within 1 minute, and are normally capped at 2 (3 has always indicated a boss would spawn). If you kill Trigger mobs faster than every 2 minutes, nothing will happen. If you wait at least 2 minutes between killing trigger mobs, you should get a wave every single time.
The boss appears to have a 1h15m cooldown. Though I did once get him to spawn just 45 minutes after I'd last killed him. Not sure how. What you get from triggering a wave seems random, and it may be a % scale based on time (closer to 15 minutes = closer to 0% chance, closer to 2hrs = closer to 100% chance).
The loot here is level 3-5 and stacks to 60, with only 4 different kinds of loot. If you camp here for a while, consider bringing an alt with a low TL. The loot should provide good XP until TL 20 or so. Additionally, farming for this item is likely to give you a decent amount of positive Vrix faction, making obtaining the Pride device in Primus far easier.
