Do "Left to your own Devices" first in order to get the blueprint to create the device needed in "Like a Leaf on the Wind..", in order to retain your serenity...

Steps

1. With the list of components in your cargo (you did write it down, right?) Wait at the PATH OF FIRE II navpoint in Valkyrie Twins sector. Or restart the mission and write it down.
   • From a L4 Vendor (there is one at Nostrand Vor Station) you should buy:
     — 3x Evolver AllTemp Circuit Board,
     — 3x Mi Fast Focus 550,
     — 3x Nebula PowerVamp,
     — 3x Sunburst SuperNova,
     — 3x Ultra Improved Capacitor,
     — 3x Ultra SuperGen.
   • 3x Hull Mesh Laminate III can be made by a stage 1 Agrippa Progen Privateer
   • 3x BlackBox CoreCage
   • 3x CE3K Model 4
2. Wait at the PATH OF FIRE III navpoint in Valkyrie Twins sector. This mission is forfitable and can be obtained again.
3. Wait at the PATH OF FIRE IV navpoint in Valkyrie Twins sector. This mission is forfitable and can be obtained again.
4. Wait at the PATH OF FIRE V navpoint in Valkyrie Twins sector. This mission is forfitable and can be obtained again.
5. Wait at the PATH OF FIRE VI navpoint in Valkyrie Twins sector. This mission is forfitable and can be obtained again.
6. Wait at the PATH OF FIRE VII navpoint in Valkyrie Twins sector. This mission is forfitable and can be obtained again.
7. Return to Architecti Vasi to report your findings. He's only interested in stacks that survived intact, and circuit boards.
   • For the curious, Hull Mesh Laminate III, CE3K Model 4, Evolver AllTemp Circuit Board, and Ultra Improved Capacitor are the items which survive. Amusingly, these are the items for building a Security Optimal Override Alpha. >>> SIDENOTE <<< When you catch a WH to VT the mission gets updated to 7/8 directly on the weft. No need to sit at the Navs ;-)

Notes

• As the SIDENOTE says above. WH to VT and the mission progresses to step 7, return to Vasi. You do lose comps but that is supposed to happen. I suggest only having 3 of each, do not have large stacks as they might vanish.
• This mission is very buggy when gating into VT. I suggest you try to get a wormhole there instead. I ended up losing 3x black boxes and 3x sunburst supernova, I had to reacquire (the sunburst can be gotten from Aragoth Station). I had an extra 3 sunburst thanks to a kind guildy, so upon re-gating I got completion. No amount of sitting at Path of Fire V would advance the mission tell I did this... —Tsaavik, 2018
• May 2023: I wormholed in to VT and lost some comps out of the various stacks of 3, and a couple of entire stacks. Also noticed messages stating some comps had been damaged. Kept the full stack of CE3K that survived, and jettisoned all the remnants. Sent my JE for replacement parts while the PS waited at the weft in VT. On restocking the PS, visited all the Paths of Fire. Nothing disappeared, nothing seemed to happen. Went back to Nostrand Vor Station as per instruction in Mission Log, and mission completed. —Winlander, 2023.
