Utilizing stolen technology, the BlackSun Hellbore delivers an overwhelming volley of plasma energy also referred to as a Big Pink Ball O' Love. The Hellbore has been seen equipped on elite Red Dragon vessels and capital ships. When equipped, this weapon gives an increase to Missle damage, range and skill. When fired on a targeted enemy, this weapon will reduce the target's Plasma resistance.

- Weaken Plasma (Activated): -43.0 Plasma Deflect for 198 seconds to enemy when activated.
- Enhance Missiles (Equip): Increases Missile Damage by 30.0% when equipped.
- Boost Missile Range (Equip): Increases Missile Range by 38% when equipped.
- Improved Missile Handling (Equip): Improved Missile Accuracy by 3.53 Skill Level(s) when equipped.

The Hellbore has the worst Damage Per Second of any level 9 Missile Launcher, however its missile-enhancement buffs will vastly magnify the hitting power of all your other launchers — even moreso if you're using plasma ammunition. Note too that you cannot manufacture Hellbore ammunition, so 200% quality ammo is not possible. One source for the ammunition is the weapons dealer at Queen Anne's Revenge station.
