Defeat the 2624FG4D the old fashioned way: with a bomb.
Steps
- Talk to vendor Zaneda Lyro (Arx Tiberius, Tarsis, Vega)
- You'll be presented with two options: gather ore or fight, represented as steps 2 and 3 below, respectively. Pick one. Note that you only get the blueprint for Joyful Blinding if you pick Step 2 (gather ore) (see #Bugs below).
- Return to Zaneda Lyro with Sulfur, 3 Anthracite Coal, and 2 Potassium Nitrate (Potassium, Liquid Nitrogen, 3 Liquid Oxygen)
- Kill 2 Belter Drones (Vishao's Cove) for explosives
- Nav Belters End, CL41 Belter Drone. Can be done in groups. Explosives are added to your cargo hold once two Drones are killed. Make sure you have available space.
- Talk to vendor Ormos Mentis (Arx Tiberius) with all the components for the Joyful Blinding device (Quark Synthesis 4, Athanor Athena, Explosives)
- Talk to Var (Arx Tiberius, Tarsis, Vega)
- Launch the Joyful Blinding device within 1K to blind the 2624FG4D (-80, 78) in Akeron's Gate
- Return to Var (Arx Tiberius, Tarsis, Vega)
Bugs
The blueprint for the device Joyful Blinding can only be obtained if you advance the mission by gathering ore and providing it (Step 2 above); if you fight and kill the mobs (Step 3 above) you don't get it.
