RR

The letters RR are a commonly used abbreviation for Roadrunner devices.

Roadrunners come in two main types, or lines, and are considered by many pilots to be an essential piece of ship equipment for trade runs, as well as general travel. All Roadrunners confer a "Turbo Warp" buff to a pilot's ship, which increases its speed significantly.

Type 1: Roadrunner devices
Must be activated to apply the Turbo Warp buff, which is better (and at lower levels, up to three times better) than the buff from the other type. However, use of this line is restricted and its various models may only be used by Terran Tradesmen.

Type 2: Roadrunner Plus devices
This line confers a passive Turbo Warp buff, and so must stay installed in your ship for the buff to remain applied. Unlike the other type, this line may be used by all races and classes of pilot.

All the varieties of Roadrunner devices are as follows:

Roadrunner Plus Line The common feature to all levels is a passive "Turbo Warp" buff. There are no race or profession restrictions for these models. L1 DV-WP-X1 "Roadrunner Plus" Mk.
