Call Forward is a Progen Sentinel skill, which they gain after completing the mission Weird Science (which requires OL 135).
It allows the Sentinel to reclaim for a player the skill-points they've spent, allowing them to redistribute the skillpoints to any skill as desired. In ENB Live, a Call Forward would return all points from every skill to the unspent pool. However, in the ENB Emulator, Calls Forward are applied only to one particular skill at a time.
NOTE: a Progen Sentinel CAN use the Call Forward skill on themself, they must target themselves first.
How to use
- The pilot wanting a skill reset must go to Arx Spartoi, Endriago, and trade with NPC Calliope Gans to purchase an appropriate Biostruct resequencer.
- Purchase the level of re-sequencer corresponding to the level of the skill you want reset. You can buy a higher level re-sequencer than needed, but they are just more expensive and you will be wasting money.
- The re-sequencers are single-use items; you must buy one for each skill you want reset.
- The re-sequencers are non-tradeable: don't buy with the intention of giving one to another pilot - you won't be able to.
- Meet in space with a Progen Sentinel who has the Call Forward skill, load the re-sequencer into a device slot, and let him know which skill to reset.
- If having several skills Called Forward, take care which re-sequencer you equip, if they are of different levels. Best to equip one at a time.
- The PS simply types /call Skill Name while targeting you.
- You will get a request-window, asking you to confirm if you want to reset that skill.
- If you confirm it, the skill gets reset to level 1 (no points spent), and all the associated skill points are returned to the unspent pool.
- Unlike ENB Live, your ship will not be Returned To Base (RTB).
NOTE: In the current ENB Emulator implementation, you CANNOT Call Forward your Engine, Shield, or Reactor skills.
Note for Builders
- All your recipes remain even after you Call Forward build skills; you just can't make those builds until you put the required points back into the relevant build skills again.
